On October 22, in Vinh City, Mr. Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Delegation to the National Assembly met with the working delegation of the People's Council of Vientiane, Lao People's Democratic Republic, who are on a visit and working trip in Nghe An.
Mr. Quy expressed his joy in welcoming the working delegation of the People's Council of Vientiane for their visit and work. At the same time, he highly appreciated the results of the visit, which will strengthen the deep bond between Nghe An Province (Vietnam) and Vientiane (Laos).
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Nghe An also expressed his delight when the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council of Nghe An Province and the working delegation of the People's Council of Vientiane had a very successful discussion and exchange of experiences.
He had the confidence that the results of the discussion will contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the activities and operations of the People's Councils of both localities, contributing to the development of Nghe An and Vientiane.
He also hoped that the exchange of experiences will be maintained regularly and expanded in various areas of work, contributing to the strengthening and promotion of the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States of Vietnam and Laos in general, and between Nghe An and Vientiane in particular.
Mr. Thai Thanh Quy provided information to the working delegation about the situation of Nghe An Province in the first nine months of the year with many outstanding results. At the same time, he affirmed the important role of the Provincial People's Council in the development process of Nghe An Province.
On behalf of the provincial leaders of Nghe An, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Thai Thanh Quy, sincerely thanked the working delegation of the People's Council of Vientiane for their affection and arrangement of time to visit and work in Nghe An Province - the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, a close and loyal friend of the Party, State, and People of Laos. President Ho Chi Minh, along with President Kaysone Phomvihane, Prince Souphanouvong, and the previous generations of leaders, laid the foundation for the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
