Located in Dong Hoi Industrial Zone, Hoang Mai town, Hoa Sen Nghe An Steel Sheet Plant Project of Hoa Sen Group occupies 350000m2 with total investment of 3,500 billion dong. After coming into operation, the plant will manufacture a variety of high quality products such as steel sheets or steel pipe for both domestic and export markets, and create plenty of employment opportunities for local labor force.
After nearly one year of execution, a production line of aluminum and zinc alloy coating was basically completed and was scheduled to produce its first products at the beginning of June. At present, the focus of project was to speed up the progress to finish the non-ferrous coating production line so that it could begin operating at the middle of June.
After inspecting the real situation and listening to progress report from project officers, the Secretary of Provincial Party Committee recognized efforts of investors in construction, and instructed them to pay much attention to environmental aspects as well as finish wastewater treatment system as soon as possible to meet environmental requirements when the plant started its production activities.
Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh emphasized that this issue attracted much of voters’ concern in meetings with candidates for deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels. Therefore, every business in industrial zones in the whole province must comply strictly with the requisites.
Following the visit, Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh went to inspect the 500m stage linking Dong Hoi Industrial Zone and Nghi Son Industrial Zone (Thanh Hoa), which is an arterial road for the connection of industrial and livelihood activities between the South Thanh Hoa and the North Nghe An but still not available for construction, to search for solutions.
