(Baonghean.vn) – Exchanging culture, making acquaintance with new friends, studying are parts of the activities that the youth of Nghe An has been doing in Côtes d’Armor, France – the twin province of Nghe An.

In May 20th, 9 students, in which there are 6 from Nghe An and 3 from Ha Tinh, along with 2 teachers have departed to France in order to participate into the culture exchange event between 2 provinces Côtes d’Armor and Nghe An for 2 weeks. This event is organized every two years started from 1996 by the French Language Center Côtes d’Armor – Vietnam.
To be selected as one of those representatives, good and excellent students have been interviewed by Mr. Philippe Normand in the French Language Center Côtes d’Armor – Vietnam located in Nguyen Duc Canh street on April 2015. The final principal list includes three 8-grade students from Le Loi secondary school, three 11-grade students from Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, three 11-grade students from Ha Tinh Specialized High School.
During the event of 2016, in the morning, these students have chance to study in Roger-Vercel College in Dinan and Beaufeuillage College in Saint-Brieuc. In the afternoon, there are activities such as culture exchange, travelling, outside work before joining French families in the evening.
Pham Thi Hong An – a French-specialized student of 11C4K43 in Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School – shared that this is an interesting and worthy event. The event helps her not only to get more knowledge, friends but also to gain her interest in French and France.
Students of this event are financially supported during 2 weeks they spend with local people of Côtes d’Armor. Up to now, more than 200 representatives from Nghe An have been coming to Côtes d’Armor under this event.
