(Baonghean.vn) – In the morning of 10th June, VTV working team had a working session with Provincial People’s Committee of Nghe An to assess the outcomes after 1 year of Cooperation Program in the period of 2015-2020. The two parties signed the Cooperation Scheme which contributed to the success of implementation the Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo about developing Nghe An as the center of North Central Coast.

Attending the working session, from Nghe An side, there were Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of Central Party Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - Vice Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, President of Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Le Quang Huy - Vice Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and representatives of related departments and industries.
From VTV, there were Mr. Tran Binh Minh - Member of Central Party Committee, General Director and representatives of professional departments.
Over the past year, Nghe An and VTV had cooperated in many propaganda activities on history – culture; economic and social development advantages; instructions of management board; achievements in economy, social issues, defence, security and building the Communist Party and government of Nghe An on broadcast programs on VTV.
VTV assigned a team of correspondents in Nghe An to accurately and timely report news. Besides, VTV has facilitated Nghe An Radio and Television Station in order to catch up with other stations in the same area, thereby promoting the images and people of Nghe An to the whole country as well as worldwide.
On the other side, Nghe An has facilitated VTV in terms of organizing great activities in the province as well as invites VTV reporters to attend important events of the province.
At the working session, both sides discussed solutions to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation, including upgrading equipment, training for staff, improving quality of programs in ethnic languages, promoting propaganda towards complicated issues or hot topics, etc.; in order to orient the public opinion to the right direction and spreading policies of the Party and government.
They also agreed on the content of cooperation from now until 2020: continue the active coordination in propaganda in all aspects of Nghe An, contributing to the execution of Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW dated on 30th July 2013 of the Politburo regarding direction and duties on development of Nghe An until 2020; facilitating VTV to open a Representative Office in Vinh City.
To conclude the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh affirmed to create the best conditions for this cooperation program, and assigned related departments, industries and units to proactively comment and contribute ideas to develop and implement the agreed content efficiently.
